DreamKeepers Scholarship

Applications are now open!

Sister’s United is proud to offer the Sisters United DreamKeepers Scholarship to support Indigenous students pursuing higher education beyond traditional timelines. This scholarship is designed for Indigenous students who have already graduated from high school and are now seeking to further their education at a college, university, or trade school.

Higher education can be a powerful tool for personal and community growth, but we recognize that many Indigenous students face unique barriers in accessing and completing their education. That’s why this scholarship provides $1,500 per semester, for up to four years (eight semesters), based on academic progress (minimum 2.0 GPA) and continued enrollment in a degree or certificate program.

Applications are open from February 15th to April 15th, and recipients will be announced on May 1st. Funds will be sent directly to the institution to assist with tuition costs.

Applicants must identify as an enrolled member or descendant of a federally or state-recognized Indigenous tribe.

We encourage applicants of any age and from all educational backgrounds to apply.  Whether you're returning to school to advance your career, support your community, or fulfill a lifelong dream, we want to support your journey.
